Training for youthworkers - 15-20 November 2007
This training is for youthworkers who are willing to go the extra mile to make the 'Youth in action' program a program of inclusion. The aims of this training are:
1. to develop the ability of the participants to be inclusive in their work:
2. to develop the ability of the participants to use the 'Youth in action' program as a tool to create positive image formation about the groups and individuals involved toward the larger society.
3. to develop the ability of the participants to use the 'Youth in action' program as a tool to create positive experiences for the participants
4. to motivate the participants in using action 1,2 and 3 in this manner.
The participants:
- Are willing and able to communicate in English
- Have some experience in working with youngsters from a background of social exclusion or will be working with them.
- Have a positive attitude towards young people, even if their behavior is sometimes difficult to understand.
- Are willing to do some reflection on their way of working.
- Have the intention of using an action 1, 2 or 3 program as a tool for stimulating groups and individuals in their emancipation.
